Self Publishing: Cover Art

For those of you who are considering self-publishing, you’re probably aware that this is an intensive process with a lot of moving parts.

I can’t claim to be an authority on it yet. I am currently in the process of self-publishing my first book, so there is still a lot I’m learning.

One thing that I have found great success with so far was who I chose to design my cover: Miblart.

I tried their option to get a free cover design idea. They were extremely helpful, cooperative, and honestly patient with me. I had a very loose idea of what I wanted my cover to look like. I asked for numerous changes across several drafts and each time their designers did amazing work.

I think they did an excellent job! I admit I was rather particular about the whole process, but they accommodated my every need!

There was a long process of changes they accommodated before I even had to purchase my cover. The process was a lot easier than I expected and they’ve been great!
